Ohio State has won their first championship since 2014, defeating Notre Dame 34-23. The Fighting Irish erased a 24pt deficit late in the game, but failed to come all the way back. One of the most dominating seasons by a team in College Football history ends with a championship win. Yes they lost to Michigan as 20pt favorites at home, but besides that they are the first CFB team ever to beat 5 top-five teams in a single season.
Congratulations to Ryan Day and the Buckeyes!
(I think its safe to say they don’t care about that loss to Michigan anymore).
